Overview: Air Mandalay Limited is the first regional and private joint venture airline in Myanmar eatablished in 1994 with 2 ATRs 75. Now a day it is flying to all of Myanmar's domestic top tourist destinations as well as international destinations like Chiangmai. According to our bad experiences, it is one of the most un-reliable private airlines due because of its non-infomed and till the last minutes frequently keep changing shcedules.

Air Mandalay Limited, the first regional joint venture airline in Myanmar, was formed on October 6, 1994. The shareholders are the national carrier Myanmar Airways, Air Mandalay Holdings Pte Ltd of Singapore and Premier Airlines Pte Ltd of Malaysia. As a domestic and regional carrier for the tourism sector, our schedules and timings are planned to give you total flexibility with your travel plans. Air Mandalay provides its customers with good services, comfort, safety and reliability. Currently fly to all major destinations in Myanmar and to Chiang Mai in Thailand.

Air Mandalay's logo depicts the mythological Royal Hintha Bird. It symbolises loyalty, respect for traditional values, stability, good luck and prosperity.

Yellow represents gold as the numerous golden pagodas found all over Myanmar - The Golden Land.

Burgundy signifies the colour of the robes worn by the Buddhist monks in Myanmar, thus stands for religious values.

Air Mandalay's modern fleet currently comprises of one ATR72-212 and two ATR42-300s, built by Aerospatiale of France and Alenia of Italy and powered by Canadian built Pratt & Whitney engines.

Both local and foreign pilots are trained at Avions de Transport Regional's (ATR) training facilities.

The Aircraft Maintenance Engineers are trained at both ATR and at Pratt & Whitney's facilities.

Air Mandalay's aircraft are maintained to the French Civil Aviation (DGAC) standards. All aircraft in Air Mandalay's fleet are inspected once a year by the French DGAC. Selection and training of our cabin crew is aimed at providing high levels of service consistant with Myanmar's gentle traditions.
