Situated at the eastern side of the royal palace, Koethaung Pagoda is one of the biggest pagoda in Mrauk Oo. King Min Taikkha, son of King Minbin built this Pagoda. The similar structure of the Koethaung (90,000) and the Shitthaung (80,000) make them more amazing.
