Detail Itinerary

Day-01: Pindaya - Htut Ni - Si - Kya - Inn - Yasakyi (Lunch / Dinner) 
After breakfast at hotel, trekking will start to Htut Ni village at 8:00 a.m. Inhabited by the hill tribe Danu and to trek over 3 km for about 45 minutes or drive for about 15 minutes, maximum Hiace. That village has about 170 houses and over 500 people living in this village. Then stroll in the village and chat with the natives. Beside that, surrounding the Htut Ni village has little cave (about 100 feet wide). You can observe this cave and ancient Buddha Image within this cave.

Then continue to Si-Kya-Inn village, the trekking is about 4 km for 1 hour. This village also inhabited by the hill tribe Danu and end at 10:00 a.m. That village has about 90 houses and 500 people live. Take a rest for a while and has snack and green-tea. Then stroll in the village.


Then continue to trek to Yasakyi village, where hill trible Palaung live. That village has about 70 homes and over 400 people. The trek of 4 km journey takes you 1.5 hours because of climb up and rough journey. Upon arrival around about 12:00 a.m, have lunch and rest in a monastery. Then stroll in the village and chat with the natives. Dinner will be served to you overnight at monastery in Yasakyi village.

Day-02: Yasakyi - Mene Taung - Pinsein - Pin - Htin-shu-kone - Taung-baw-gyi - Pindaya (Breakfast / Lunch)

Early morning after breakfast you will mount the Mt. Yasakyi about 7000 ft above sea level, the spot that offers you panoramic views. It the Mt. Yasakyi has Traditional festival, is called Tar-Tak festival and is celebrated by Annually Myanmar New Year's 8th Day. The journey takes you 2.5 hours because of climb up and rough journey. Then climb down about 1 hour to Yasakyi village and continue to trek to Mene Taung, inhabited by the hill tribe Pa-oh. In this village has about 150 houses and over 800 people live. To treak 4 km journey takes you 1 hour. The whole return trip is climb down and smooth journey.

Then climb down and continue return trip to Pinsein Pin, where hill tribe Danu live. That village has about 50 houses and round about 300 people. Take a rest for a while and have snack and green tea. You can choice two ways trek from that village, one way for Pinsein Pin to Taung-baw-gyi and another way is Pin-sein-pin to Htin-shu-kone to Taung-baw-gyi.

If you will go to Htin-shu-kone village inhabited by the hill tribe Danu and to trek over 2 km for about 30 minutes. That village has about 50 houses and 300 people live. And then continue to trek to Taung-baw-gyi village, where hill tribe Danu live and to trek 5 km for 1.5 hours. That village has about 200 houses and over 1000 people. That village has dispensary because of large and develop village. Then climb down 4 km for about 1 hour, arriving at Conqueror Hotel (Pindaya).

If you will choose direct trip from Pinsein Pin to Taung-Baw-gyi trek over 5 km for 1.5 hours.

Trip Requirements

Visa: A Valid visa is required to enter Myanmar for all the nationalities. Visa can be apply at the Myanmar Embassies in abroad All the tourist visas are valid for 28 days and cost avrage of USD 20. Passports must carry a validity of 6 months beyond intended date of departure from Myanmar.
For those who live in the places and countries where the Myanmar Embassies or Consulates are not located, we are able to help you get the pre-approval letter for visa on arrival if you buy the tour services from us. For pre-approval visa it will take about minimum 30 days. After we get the pre-approval letter will email to you with attached file then show this letter to your airline for boarding pass. Visa fee is USD 20 which has to pay directly to Yangon airport immigration and one of our staff will meet and assist you at the airport on arrival.

Things to bring: Light clothes, slippers (please note that you have to take off your shoes at all the pagodas and temples in Myanmar when you enter the compound) and the medicines that you usually take for your health.

Health Precausion: No special precausion is needed

Insurance: Clients should take out medical and travel insurance.

Direction to meeting point: A representative will meet you at your hotel in Kalaw.
