Detail Itinerary

Day-01: Kyaing Tong

Pickup at your hotel for sightseeing Kyaing Tong Tour. Visit to Standing Buddha Image – it situates at the place where Kyaing Tong was founded about one thousand years ago, Kyaing Tong Central Market, R.C.M church and Lacquerware Marking Home Cottage. Lunch at a restaurant. After lunch, continue to Thittapin Taung – the 245 years old dipterocarpus tree planted by King Alaungphaya, the founder of Third Myanmar Dynasty and around the Naung Tong Lake. Dinner & overnight in Kyaing Tong.


Day-02:Kyaing Tong – Pang Pack (Lahu-Shi village)

After breakfast, drive to Kong Ma (Wa village) (approx. 45 min drive) on the way enjoy the view to plain rice fields looking like a huge green patchwork blanket. Continue trekking to Lahu – Shi hilltribe village (approx.6 hours for up and down). On the way, lunch would be lunch-box. Drive back to Kyaing Tong. Dinner and overnight in Kyaing Tong.

Day-03:Kyaing Tong – Pin Tauk (Akha -Ann)

After breakfast, visit to Pin Tauk by car (approx. 1:30 hours drive). Continue to Akha and Ann hilltribe villages by hiking. The Ann hilltribe live on the higher slopes and possess distinctively different costumes and beliefs from the other hilltribes particularly interest with their black teeth. Picnic lunch would be lunch-box at Pin Tauk Waterfall. After lunch, visit to Nan Mali Tauk and Nan Mali Mai (Ann villages), Pan Li and Wun Mai (Lahu villages). Then, drive back to Kyaing Tong. Dinner and overnight in Kyaing Tong.

Day-04:Kyaing Tong – Loimwe

After breakfast, visit to Loimwe – the hill top place with peaceful surroundings (sea level-5542 ft) (approx. 1 ½ hours drive). Continue to Old British colonial governor’s houses and Catholic Church. On the way, lunch would be lunch-box. After lunch, continue trekking to Wanlun Shan village, Holap Akha village, Nangcho Wa village and Pang Kwai Lahu village etc. Then, drive back to Kyaing Tong. Dinner and overnight in Kyaing Tong

Day-05: Kyaing Tong – Hokyin

After breakfast, visit to Hokyin Akha village(approx. 50 minutes drive and approx. 1 ½ hours hiking). On the way visit to Hot spa and avaiable to see twice weekly water buffalo Market . Lunch would be lunch-box. After lunch, continue to Na Phi Phank village – where Lahu and Akha tribes living together (approx. 30 min). One can visit to Phata and Tang Ma Phai Akha villages before return to the car and continue to Mong Zine Khun village for studying traditional Lahu black smith. Drive back to Kyaing Tong. Dinner and overnight in Kyaing Tong.

Day-06: Kyaing Tong - Wan Nyut and Wan Seng

After breakfast, visit to Wan Nyut through Chinese border (approx. 2 hours drive and approx. ½ hour hiking). Visit to Wan Nyut old Monastery and Loi tribe village - it situated near Namp-Lwei stream unreachable at one time. Lunch would be lunch-box. After lunch, continue hiking to Wan Seng village (approx. 2 hours). Through beautiful scenery yet not difficult hike. Drive back to Kyaing Tong.

Trip Requirements

Visa: A Valid visa is required to enter Myanmar for all the nationalities. Visa can be apply at the Myanmar Embassies in abroad All the tourist visas are valid for 28 days and cost avrage of USD 20. Passports must carry a validity of 6 months beyond intended date of departure from Myanmar.
For those who live in the places and countries where the Myanmar Embassies or Consulates are not located, we are able to help you get the pre-approval letter for visa on arrival if you buy the tour services from us. For pre-approval visa it will take about minimum 30 days. After we get the pre-approval letter will email to you with attached file then show this letter to your airline for boarding pass. Visa fee is USD 20 which has to pay directly to Yangon airport immigration and one of our staff will meet and assist you at the airport on arrival.

Things to bring: Light clothes, slippers (please note that you have to take off your shoes at all the pagodas and temples in Myanmar when you enter the compound) and the medicines that you usually take for your health.

Health Precausion: No special precausion is needed

Insurance: Clients should take out medical and travel insurance.

Direction to meeting point: A representative will meet you at your hotel in Kyaing Tong.
