Detail Itinerary

Day-01 (12 Jan'08): Yangon - Mandalay - Homalin - Lashi (Lunch/ Dinner)

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Mandalay airport for the flight to fly to Homalin, on arrival A welcoming committee wait for you and conducts you to the jetty. Boat awaits you on Chindwin River, one of the major tributary of the mighty Ayeyarwaddy River on to Htamanthi village. Enjoy lunch and refreshments at Htamanthi village befor countinuing to Leshi by light air truck. Arrive at Leshi and check in to your accommodations built with native materials. Dinner anbd rest for the night. Overnight in Traditional style lodge, Leshi.

Day-02 (13 Jan'08): Lashi (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)

Visit to Naga village around Leshi and studying Naga nature life. Overnight in Traditional style lodge, Leshi.

Day-03 (14 Jan'08): Lashi (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)

The Traditional Naga Ceremonial Pole will be erected at the festival grounds and Various Naga clans in all their traditional costumes will be there to participate.Explare the surrounding villages or the town of Leshi on your own. Overnight in Traditional style lodge, Leshi.

Day-04 (15 Jan'08): Lashi (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)

The official opening ceremony of Naga New Year beings on the festival grounds early morning. Partakethe traditional food and rice wine with Naga community elders. After conclusion of the official ceremony dance competations of dancetroupes from various Nagas villages and sport events will start. Finally in the evening a large bonfire is and everybody in welcoming the Naga New Year, dancing around the bonfire. Overnight in Traditional style lodge, Leshi.


Day-05 (16 Jan'08): Lashi - Homalin - Mandalay -Yangon Departure (Breakfast / Lunch)

You leave the Naga New Year Festival and head back home, either to Mandalay or Yangon. Service hereby comes to and end.

Trip Requirements

Visa: A valid visa is required to enter Myanmar for all the nationalities. Visa can be apply at the Myanmar Embassies in abroad All the tourist visas are valid for 28 days and cost average of USD 20. Passports must carry a validity of 6 months beyond intended date of departure from Myanmar.
For those who live in the places and countries where the Myanmar Embassies or Consulates are not located, we are able to help you get the pre-approval letter for visa on arrival if you buy the tour services from us. For pre-approval visa it will take about minimum 30 days. After we get the pre-approval letter will email to you with attached file then show this letter to your airline for boarding pass. Visa fee is USD 20 + 2 recent passport size photographs which has to pay directly to Yangon airport immigration and one of our staff will meet and assist you at the airport on arrival.

Things to bring: Light clothes, slippers (please note that you have to take off your shoes at all the pagodas and temples in Myanmar when you enter the compound), candlelight and the medicines that you usually take for your health.

Health Precausion: No special precausion is required.

Insurance: Clients should take out medical and travel insurance.
