Detail Itinerary
Day-01 (16 Oct'07): Yangon Arrival (Lunch/ Dinner)

Arrive at Yangon International Airport. Meet and transfer to Hotel. After check in hotel, lunch at a restaurant. After lunch, sightseeing to Shwedagon Pagoda over 2500 years old the world famous stupa in the dome shape rises 98 meters above its base and covered with 60 tons of pure gold.Welcoming Dinner with cultural show at Karaweik Palace Restaurant, built in the style of Myanmar old days king's Royal Budge. Your first night is in Yangon, capital of Myanmar.


Day-02 (17 Oct'07): Yangon - Heho - Pindaya - Inle (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)

After breakfast in hotel, leave Yangon for Heho by flight. On arrival to Heho, continue drive to Pindaya. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, sightseeing include The Scenic Lake and Pindaya Caves - unique for the thousands of Buddha images placed there by pilgrims over many centuries, traditional Shan Paper and Umbrella Making villages. Drive back to Nyaung Shwe. Boat trip to hotel in Inle Lake – calm waters extend for nine kilometers through the cleft of a river valley. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Inle.

Day-03 (18 Oct'07): Inle (Phaungdaw Oo Pagoda Festival) (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)

After breakfast, morning visit to Lin Kin for the best sightseeing of  Phaungdawoo Pagoda – to witness it annual Processional Festival. Observe the royal barge, which carries the 5 most, revered Buddha images have been towed by small boat from Lin Kin village to Nyaungshwe as part of the procession. Enjoy funfare with music and dance along with traditional leg rowing boat racing.  Lunch at local restaurant. Continue to the weaving village of Inpawkhon and Ngaphekyaung Monastery - well know for its jumping cats and numerous collections of Buddha images and alters. Enjoy more of traditional funfares.  Dinner & overnight at the hotel in Inle Lake.

Day-04 (19 Oct'07): Inle - Sagar - Inle (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)

After breakfast, the whole day boat trip to Sagar Village – lost treasures due to floating. Stop to visit  the 5 day market at Kyauk Taing Village by passing.Arrive at Sagar Village , visit to Tahkaung Mwedaw Pagoda, can see the submerged pavilions, decaying pagodas, ancient bell. Continue to Lunch at local restaurant and come back to Inle. Dinner and overnight  in Inle.


Day-05 (20 Oct'07): Inle - Taunggyi (Kakku) - Kalaw (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

After breakfast, transfer to Ngwe Shwe by boat. Drive to Taunggyi. Visit to Taunggyi Market, Continue to Kakku - very impressive with it's beautiful 2548 pagodas believed to have been built since 307 BC and two old bronze ringing bells. Lunch at local restaurant and continue drive to Kalaw – a small hill station . Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Kalaw.

Day-06 (21 Oct'07): Kalaw - Popa - Bagan (Breakfast / Lunch /Dinner)

After breakfast, drive to Bagan. Lunch at a restaurant in Meikhtila. On the way, visit to Mount Popa, the abode of nats(spirits), siturated 40 miles southeast of Bagan. Sightseeing Mount Popa and environs. Then, proceed to Bagan. Dinner and overnight  in Bagan.

Day-07 (22 Oct'07): Bagan (Breakfast / Lunch /Dinner)

sightseeing to Nyaung Oo Market, Shwezigon Pagoda - built by King Anawrahta in the early 11th century as a religious shrine; Wetkyi-In Gubyaukkyi, a temple with exquisite murals of Jataka scenes; Htilominlo Temple - the largest temples of Bagan and Ananda Temple - King Kyansittha’s masterpiece and the crowning achievement of the early style temple of architecture. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, continue to Dhamanyangyi Temple was built by King Narathu in 1167 (12th centaury) and not finished but it displayed the finest brickwork in Bagan; Manuha Temple - built by King Manuhar from Thaton, Nanphaya and Myinkabar Gubyaukgyi Temple - known for its wall painting depicting scenes from the Jataka. Visit to Shwe Sandaw Pagoda to watch the sunset scene over the Ayeyarwaddy River. Dinner with Puppet Show at the local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Bagan, Burma’s ancient city and living treasure house of Buddhist architectural beauties.

Day-08 (23 Oct'07): Bagan - Pakkoku - Monywa (Breakfast / Lunch /Dinner)

After breakfast, transfer to jetty for boat trip to Pakkoku . Lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch drive to Monywa. On arrival Monywa, visit to Po-Win-Taung Mountain – where an hour drives from the bank of Chindwin River . Dinner and overnight in Monywa.

Day-09 (24 Oct'07): Monywa - Mandalay (Breakfast / Lunch /Dinner)

After breakfast, visit to Thanbokde Pagoda- a domed with over 500,000 Buddha Images, Bodhi-tahtaung- one thousand Sacred Bo Trees, Kyaukka Village – known for its own distinctive kind of Lacquerware. After lunch at a local restaurant, and drive to Mandalay . On the way visit to Amarapura- U Bein’s Bridge-1.2km long over 200 years old wooden bridge, Silk Weaving Home Cottage.  Dinner and overnight at hotel in Mandalay.

Day-10 (25 Oct'07): Mandalay - Kyaukse (Dummy Elephants Festival(Breakfast / Lunch /Dinner)

After breakfast, 30 miles drive to Kyaukse. On arrival Kyaukse, enjoying the Dummy Elephants festival – a dance competition celebrating on full moon day of Thadingyut with artificial elephants constructed by bamboo, cloth, paper and as much gilt foil and glitter. After lunch, visit to Shwe Thein Taw Pagoda. Drive back to Mandalay . Dinner & overnight in Mandalay.

Day-11 (26 Oct'07): Mandalay (Breakfast / Lunch /Dinner)

After breakfast, visit to Mahamuni Image- a bronze Buddha image cast during the lifetime of Buddha himself, Marble carving workshops, Bronze casting workshop, Tapestry, Puppet, Wood curving making and showroom, Gold leaf beating workshop. Lunch at a restaurant. After lunch, continue visit to Shwenandaw Monastery- noted for its exquisite wood carvings, Atumashi Monastery, Kuthodaw Pagoda- known as the world biggest book and then final visit to Mandalay Hill to watch the sunset and the panoramic view of the city. Dinner and overnight in Mandalay.

Day-12 (27 Oct'07): Mandalay - Yangon Departure (Breakfast / Lunch)

After breakfast, transfer to airport to fly back Yangon. Arrive at Yangon Airport visit to Lokachantha Abayalabamuni Pagoda-(made from a single piece of white marble stone). Lunch at the local restaurant. After lunch, visit to Bogyoke Market - used to be called Scott Market, arts & crafts souvenir shopping center before transfer to airport to depart Yangon.

Day-13 (28 Oct'07): Yangon - Kyaikhtiyo (Breakfast / Lunch /Dinner)

After Breakfast, drive to Kyaikhtiyo. On the way, visit to Htaukkyant World War II  Cemetery. Arrive at Bago, visit to Kyakhatwine Teaching Monastery. Continue drive to Kyaikhtiyo. Arrive at Kinpun base camp of Kyaikhtiyo and transfer with the open trucks to the middle base camp named Yathe Taung - which is only 2 km uphill trek to the summit. After that one hour walk up to the Golden Rock and enjoy sunset from this unforgettable site. Dinner and overnight in Kyaiktiyo.

Day-14 (29 Oct'07): Kyaikhtiyo - Bago - Yangon (Breakfast / Lunch /Dinner)

After Breakfast, return to the base- camp and drive back to Yangon. On the way, visit Bago. Arrive at Bago, lunch at a restaurant. After that visit to; Shwemawdaw Pagoda, Kanbawzathadi  Palace Site, Cheroot Making Home Cottage, Shwethalyaung Reclining Buddha Image, Mon’s weaving Village, Kyaikpon four faces Pagoda. Evening arrive back at Yangon, dinner and overnight in Yangon.

Day-15 (30 Oct'07): Yangon Departure (Breakfast / Lunch)

After breakfast in hotel, full day sightseeing to Strand Jetty to see the daily life of local people, Kabar Aye (World Peace) Pagoda, visit Myanmar famous Gems, Jade & Jewellery workshop and will visit the Local Glass Blowing Factory where can see all the fanciful objects of glass which were produced by ancient techniques.Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, visit to Bogyoke Market used to called Scott Market, the largest market in Yangon with time to browse among the hundreds of stalls for souvenir bargains, arts & crafts souvenir shopping center before transfer to airport for flight back home.

Trip Requirements

Visa: A Valid visa is required to enter Myanmar for all the nationalities. Visa can be apply at the Myanmar Embassies in abroad All the tourist visas are valid for 28 days and cost avrage of USD 20. Passports must carry a validity of 6 months beyond intended date of departure from Myanmar.
For those who live in the places and countries where the Myanmar Embassies or Consulates are not located, we are able to help you get the pre-approval letter for visa on arrival if you buy the tour services from us. For pre-approval visa it will take about minimum 30 days. After we get the pre-approval letter will email to you with attached file then show this letter to your airline for boarding pass. Visa fee is USD 20 which has to pay directly to Yangon airport immigration and one of our staff will meet and assist you at the airport on arrival.

Things to bring: Light clothes, slippers (please note that you have to take off your shoes at all the pagodas and temples in Myanmar when you enter the compound) and the medicines that you usually take for your health.

Health Precausion: No special precausion is need except some medicine for flu as it is the shoulder time of end of raining season and start of winter season where the temperature is quite low in high land area like Inle, Pindaya, Kalaw and suddenly high in day time at low land areas like Bagan and Mandalay and could cause a flu to somebody.

Insurance: Clients should take out medical and travel insurance.

Direction to meeting point: A representative will meet you at the Yangon International Airport at arrival lounge holding a Myanmar Tourex signboard with your name on it.
