Day-02 (05 Oct'08): Yangon - Heho - Pindaya - Inle (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)
After breakfast in hotel, leave Yangon for Heho by flight. On arrival to Heho, continue drive to Pindaya. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, sightseeing include Pindaya Caves - unique for the thousands of Buddha images placed there by pilgrims over many centuries, traditional Shan Paper and Umbrella Making villages. Proceed to Nyaung Shwe and boat trip to the hotel in Inle Lake calm waters extend for nine kilometers through the cleft of a river valley. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Inle.
Day-03 (06 Oct'08): Inle (Phaungdaw Oo Pagoda Festival) (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)
After breakfast, morning visit to Lin Kin for the best sightseeing of Phaungdawoo Pagoda to witness it annual Processional Festival. Observe the royal barge, which carries the 5 most, revered Buddha images have been towed by small boat from Lin Kin village to Nyaung Shwe as part of the procession. Enjoy fun fare with music and dance along with traditional leg rowing boat racing. Lunch at local restaurant. Continue to the weaving village of Inpawkhon and Ngaphekyaung Monastery - well know for its jumping cats and numerous collections of Buddha images and alters. Enjoy more of traditional fun fares. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Inle Lake.
Day-04 (07 Oct'08): Inle - Sagar - Inle (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)
After breakfast, boat trip to Sagar Village lost treasures due to floating. Visit to Tahkaung Mwedaw Pagoda, can see the submerged pavilions, decaying pagodas, ancient bell. Lunch at local restaurant and come back to Inle. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Inle.
Day-05 (08 Oct'08): Inle - Taunggyi - Kakku - Kalaw (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)
After breakfast, transfer to Ngwe Shwe jetty by boat. Drive to Taunggyi and visit Taunggyi Market. After that continue to Kakku - very impressive with it's beautiful 2548 pagodas believed to have been built since 307 BC and two old bronze ringing bells. Lunch at local restaurant and drive to Kalaw a small hill station. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Kalaw.
Day-06 (09 Oct'08): Kalaw - Popa - Bagan (Breakfast / Lunch /Dinner)
After breakfast, drive to Bagan. On the way, visit to Mount Popa, the abode of nats (spirits), situated 40 miles southeast of Bagan. Lunch at Popa Mountain Resort. Sightseeing Mount Popa and environs. Then, proceed to Bagan. Dinner at local restaurant and overnight at the hotel in Bagan, Burma’s ancient city and living treasure house of Buddhist architectural beauties.
Day-07 (10 Oct'08): Bagan (Breakfast / Lunch /Dinner)
After breakfast at the hotel, sightseeing to Nyaung Oo Market, Shwezigon Pagoda - built by King Anawrahta in the early 11th century as a religious shrine; Wetkyi-In Gubyaukkyi, a temple with exquisite murals of Jataka scenes; Htilominlo Temple - the largest temples of Bagan and Ananda Temple - King Kyansittha’s masterpiece and the crowning achievement of the early style temple of architecture. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, continue to Dhamanyangyi Temple was built by King Narathu in 1167 (12th centaury) and not finished but it displayed the finest brickwork in Bagan; Manuha Temple - built by King Manuhar from Thaton, Nanphaya and Myinkabar Gubyaukgyi Temple - known for its wall painting depicting scenes from the Jataka. Visit to Shwe Sandaw Pagoda to watch the sunset scene over the Ayeyarwaddy River. Dinner with Puppet Show at the local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Bagan.
Day-08 (11 Oct'08): Bagan - Pakkoku - Monywa (Breakfast / Lunch /Dinner)
After breakfast, transfer to jetty for boat trip to Pakkoku. Lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch drive to Monywa. On arrival Monywa, visit to Po-Win-Taung Mountain where an hour drives from the bank of Chindwin River and Shwe Ba Mountain. Dinner and overnight in Monywa.
Day-09 (12 Oct'08): Monywa - Mandalay (Breakfast / Lunch /Dinner)
After breakfast, visit to Thanbokde Pagoda- a domed with over 500,000 Buddha Images, Bodhi-tahtaung- one thousand Sacred Bo Trees, Kyaukka Village known for its own distinctive kind of Lacquerware. Lunch at a local restaurant. After sightseeing, drive to Mandalay. Dinner at local restaurant and overnight at hotel in Mandalay.
Day-10 (13 Oct'08): Mandalay - Kyaukse (Dummy Elephants Festival(Breakfast / Lunch /Dinner)
After breakfast, 30 miles drive to Kyaukse. On arrival Kyaukse, enjoying the Dummy Elephants festival a dance competition celebrating on Thadingyut with artificial elephants constructed by bamboo, cloth, paper and as much gilt foil and glitter. After lunch, visit to Shwe Thein Taw Pagoda. Drive back to Mandalay. Dinner at local restaurant and overnight at the hotel in Mandalay.
Day-11 (14 Oct'08): Mandalay - Amarapura - Mandalay (Breakfast / Lunch /Dinner)
After breakfast, early morning visit to Mahamuni Image - a bronze Buddha image cast during the lifetime of Buddha himself and Marble Carving Workshops. After that visit to Amarapura, an ancient capital built by the advice of astrologers and U Bein’s Bridge - 1.2 km long over 200 years old wooden bridge; Mahagandaryone Monastery, where one may observe the daily life of the monks studying Buddha's scriptures and Silk weaving home cottage. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, continue visit to Mandalay Palace the last Palace of the Myanmar Kingdom, Shwenandaw Monastery- noted for its exquisite wood carvings, Atumashi Monastery, Kuthodaw Pagoda- known as the world biggest book and then final visit to Mandalay Hill to watch the sunset and the panoramic view of the city. Dinner at local restaurant and overnight at the hotel in Mandalay.
Day-12 (15 Oct'08): Mandalay - Sagaing - Mingun - Mandalay (Breakfast / Lunch /Dinner)
After breakfast at hotel, visit Sagaing Hill - known as the center for meditation. Visit Kaungmudaw Pagoda - an enormous dome shaped pagoda built in 16th century; Pottery and Silver smith workshops. Lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, boat trip to Mingun where the world largest ringing bell exist. Sightseeing Mingun village and environs. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Mandalay.
Day-13 (16 Oct'08): Mandalay - Yangon Departure (Breakfast / Lunch)
After breakfast, transfer to airport to fly back to Yangon. Up on arrival, trasnfer to hotel. After check-in sightseeing tour of Yangon City including visits to: Sule Pagoda - located in the heart of the Yangon City surrounded by various colonial style buildings, Botataung Pagoda - the land mark of Yangon's river-front. Afterternoon, visit to Bogyoke Market (Scott Market)- gems, arts & crafts souvenir shopping center. Evening walk to China Town -where can see the stalls along the platform & can buy the variety goods. Dinner and overnight in Yangon.
Day-14 (17 Oct'08): Yangon Departure (Breakfast / Lunch)
After breakfast, transfer to airport leaving Yangon. On the way, visit to Kabaraye (World Peace Pagoda), Buddha Tooth Relic pagoda and Loka Chantha Abhayalabhamuni Buddha Image (Marble Buddha) which is being carved from over 600 tons white marble rock of 37 feet long & Royal White Elephant. Arrive at airport for departure.
