Detail Itinerary

Day-01 (22 Oct'07): Yangon Arrival (Dinner)

Arrive at Yangon, start sightseeing to: Shwedagon Pagoda - over 2500 years old the world famous stupa. Meet and transfer to hotel. Welcoming Dinner with cultural show at Karaweik Palace Restaurant, built in the style of Myanmar old days king's Royal Budge. Overnight in Yangon .


Day-02 (23 Oct'07): Yangon - Bagan (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)

Start your day with breakfast at the Hotel. After breakfast, leave Yangon for Bagan by domestic flight. Bagan full day sightseeing to Nyaung Oo Market, Shwezigon Pagoda - built by King Anawrahta in the early 11th century as a religious shrine; Wetkyi-In Gubyaukkyi, a temple with exquisite murals of Jataka scenes; Htilominlo Temple - the largest temples of Bagan and Ananda Temple - King Kyansittha’s masterpiece and the crowning achievement of the early style temple of architecture. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, continue to Dhamanyangyi Temple was built by King Narathu in 1167 (12th centaury) and not finished but it displayed the finest brickwork in Bagan; Manuha Temple - built by King Manuhar from Thaton, Nanphaya and Myinkabar Gubyaukgyi Temple - known for its wall painting depicting scenes from the Jataka. Visit to Shwe Sandaw Pagoda. Evening visit to Nan Myint Tower to watch the sunset scene. Dinner with Puppet Show at the local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Bagan, Burma’s ancient city and living treasure house of Buddhist architectural beauties.

Day-03 (24 Oct'07): Bagan - Mandalay - Amarapura (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)

After breakfast, drive to Mandalay . Lunch at a restaurant at Myingyan. On the way visit to Amarapura, an ancient capital built by the advice of astrologers and Mahagandaryone Monastery, where one may observe the daily life of the monks studying Buddha's scriptures, visit silk weaving home cottage Then visit U Bein Bridge- 1.2 km long over 200 years old wooden bridge to enjoy sunset. Dinner at the local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Mandalay.

Day-04 (25 Oct'07): Mandalay - Kyaukse (Dummy Elephants festival) (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

After breakfast, 30 miles drive to Kyaukse. On arrival Kyaukse, enjoying the Dummy Elephants festival – a dance competition with artificial elephants constructed by bamboo, cloth, paper and as much gilt foil and glitter. After lunch, visit to Shwe Thein Taw Pagoda. Drive back to Mandalay . Dinner & overnight in Mandalay .

Day-05 (26 Oct'07): Mandalay (Breakfast / Lunch /Dinner)

After breakfast, visit to Mahamuni Image- a bronze Buddha image cast during the lifetime of Buddha himself, Marble carving workshops, Bronze casting workshop, Tapestry, Puppet, Wood curving making and showroom, Gold leaf beating workshop. Lunch at a restaurant. After lunch, continue visit to Shwenandaw Monastery- noted for its exquisite wood carvings, Atumashi Monastery, Kuthodaw Pagoda- known as the world biggest book and then visit to Mandalay Hill to watch the sunset and the panoramic view of the city. Dinner and overnight in Mandalay .

Day-06 (27 Oct'07): Mandalay - Heho - Pindaya - Inle (Breakfast / Lunch /Dinner)

After breakfast in hotel, leave Mandalay for Heho by flight. On arrival Heho, continue drive to Pindaya. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, sightseeing include The Scenic Lake and Pindaya Caves - unique for the thousands of Buddha images placed there by pilgrims over many centuries, traditional Shan Paper and Umbrella Making villages. Drive back to Nyaung Shwe. Boat trip to hotel in Inle Lake – calm waters extend for nine kilometers through the cleft of a river valley. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Inle .

Day-07 (28 Oct'07): Inle Lake(Breakfast / Lunch /Dinner)

Start your day with breakfast at the Hotel. After breakfast, boat trip to Inle Lake, the second biggest lake in Myanmar, famous for its unique leg rollers. Tour highlights is visit to Floating Maket (can available see on the market days only which is hold on every five days), Phaungdawoo Pagoda, InpawkhoneVillage, famous for its silk weaving handlooms, traditional ways of fishing, and Floating Gardens. Lunch at the local restaurant. Dinner & overnight at hotel in Inle.

Day-08 (29 Oct'07): Inle (Phaungdaw Oo Pagoda Festival)-Heho-Yangon (Breakfast / Lunch /Dinner)

After breakfast, morning visit to Phaungdawoo Pagoda – to witness it annual Processional Festival. Enjoy funfare with music and dance. Lunch at local restaurant. Continue to the Ngaphekyaung Monastery - well known for its jumping cats and numerous collections of Buddha images and alters. Transfer to Shwe Nyaung by boat. Then drive to Heho to depart Yangon . Dinner at local restaurant and Overnight in Yangon .


Day-09 (30 Oct'07): Yangon (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)

After breakfast, sightseeing tour of Yangon City including visits to: Sule Pagoda - located in the heart of the Yangon City surrounded by various colonial style buildings, Botataung Pagoda - the land mark of Yangon's river-front, Chaukhtatgyi Reclining Buddha Image - a colossal reclining Buddha Image. After Lunch, visit to Bogyoke Market (Scott Market)- gems, arts & crafts souvenir shopping center. Evening walk to China Town -where can see the stalls along the platform & can buy the variety goods. Dinner and overnight in Yangon .

Day-10 (31 Oct'07): Yangon Departure (Breakfast / Lunch)

After breakfast, transfer to airport leaving Yangon. On the way, visit to Gems Market, Kabaraye (World Peace Pagoda), Buddha Tooth Relic pagoda and Loka Chantha Abhayalabhamuni Buddha Image (Marble Buddha) which is being carved from over 600 tons white marble rock of 37 feet long & Royal White Elephant. Arrive at airport for departure .

Day-10 (31 Oct'07): Yangon - Kyaikhtiyo (Breakfast / Lunch /Dinner)

After Breakfast, drive to Kyaikhtiyo. On the way, visit to Htaukkyant World War II Cemetery. Arrive at Bago, visit to Kyakhatwine Teaching Monastery. Continue drive to Kyaikhtiyo. Arrive at Kinpun base camp of Kyaikhtiyo and transfer with the open trucks to the middle base camp named Yathe Taung - which is only 2 km uphill trek to the summit. After arriving to hotel, start an easy one hour walk up to the Golden Rock and enjoy sunset from this unforgettable site. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Kyaiktiyo.

Day-11 (01 Nov'07): Kyaikhtiyo - Bago - Yangon (Breakfast / Lunch /Dinner)

After Breakfast, return to the base-camp and drive back to Yangon . On the way, visit to Bago. After that lunch at a restaurant. Then visit to; Shwemawdaw Pagoda, Kanbawzathadi  Palace Site, Cheroot Making Home cottage, Shwethalyaung Reclining Buddha Image, Mon’s weaving Village, Kyaikpon four faces Pagoda. Evening arrive back at Yangon. Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight at the hotel in Yangon .

Day-12 (02 Nov'07): Yangon Departure (Breakfast / Lunch)

After breakfast, transfer to airport for leaving Yangon . Trip Requirements

Visa: A Valid visa is required to enter Myanmar for all the nationalities. Visa can be apply at the Myanmar Embassies in abroad All the tourist visas are valid for 28 days and cost avrage of USD 20. Passports must carry a validity of 6 months beyond intended date of departure from Myanmar.
For those who live in the places and countries where the Myanmar Embassies or Consulates are not located, we are able to help you get the pre-approval letter for visa on arrival if you buy the tour services from us. For pre-approval visa it will take about minimum 30 days. After we get the pre-approval letter will email to you with attached file then show this letter to your airline for boarding pass. Visa fee is USD 20 which has to pay directly to Yangon airport immigration and one of our staff will meet and assist you at the airport on arrival.

Things to bring: Light clothes, slippers (please note that you have to take off your shoes at all the pagodas and temples in Myanmar when you enter the compound) and the medicines that you usually take for your health.

Health Precausion: No special precausion is need except some medicine for flu as it is the shoulder time of end of raining season and start of winter season where the temperature is quite low in high land area like Inle, Pindaya, Kalaw and suddenly high in day time at low land areas like Bagan and Mandalay and could cause a flu to somebody.

Insurance: Clients should take out medical and travel insurance.

Direction to meeting point: A representative will meet you at the Yangon International Airport at arrival lounge holding a Myanmar Tourex signboard with your name on it.
