Detail Itinerary
Day-01 (25 Aug'07): Yangon Arrival (Lunch/ Dinner)

Arrive at Yangon , meet and transfer to hotel. Start sightseeing to: Shwedagon Pagoda - over 2500 years old the world famous stupa. After Lunch, visit to Sule Pagoda - located in the heart of the Yangon City surrounded by various colonial style buildings, Botataung Pagoda - the land mark of Yangon 's river-front, Chaukhtatgyi Reclining Buddha Image - a colossal reclining Buddha Image. Evening walk to China Town -where can see the many vendors on the platform & can buy the variety goods. Dinner with cultural show at Karaweik Palace Restaurant, built in the style of Myanmar old days king's Royal Budge. Overnight in Yangon .

Day-02 (26 Aug'07 ): Yangon - Mandalay-Amarapura (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)

After breakfast, fly to Mandalay by domestic flight. And then drive to Mandalay- a seat of culture and centre of religious learning. On the way visit to Amarapura, an ancient capital built by the advice of astrologers and Mahagandaryone Monastery,where one may observe the daily life of the monks studying Buddha's scriptures, U Bein Bridge- 1.2 km long over 200 years old wooden bridge; Silk weaving home cottage. Proceed to Mahamuni Image-a bronze Buddha Image casting the lifetime of Buddha Himself. Lunch at the local restaurant and proceed visiting to Tapestry works, Woods caving & Bronze casting workshops, Marble carving workshop,Gold leave beating workshop, and proceed to Shwenandaw Monastery, noted for its exquisite wood carving; Atumashi Monastery, Kuthodaw Pagoda, known as the world biggest book. Evening visit to Mandalay Hill to watch the sunset scene and the panoramic view of the city. Dinner and day end in Mandalay.

Day-03 (27 Aug'07): Mandalay - Taungbyone Village (Taungbyone Nat (Spirits) Festival) - Mandalay (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)

After breakfast, 9 miles drive to Taungbyone Village - a small village nestling quietly among the green fields. Arrival on Taungbyone, enjoy the Taungbyone Nat (Spirits)Festival - the most famous of the Nats or spirits festivals in Myanmar . Lunch at a local restaurant. Evening drive back to Mandalay . Dinner and overnight in Mandalay .

Day-04 (28 Aug'07): Mandalay - Mingun -Sagaing- Mandalay (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)

After breakfast, boat trip to Mingun where the world largest ringing bell exist. Pahtodawgyi unfinish Pagoda, Mingun village and environs scene. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, visit to Sagaing Hill, known as the center of meditation. Visit Kaungmudaw Pagoda,an enormous dome shaped pagoda built in 16th century: Pottery and Silver-smith workshops. Evening, to watch the sunset scene and the panoramic view of the city from Sagaing Hill. Then drive back to Mandalay. Dinner and overnight in Mandalay.

Day-05 (29 Aug'07): Mandalay -Yangon (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

After breakfast, transfer to airport to leave Yangon . Meet and transfer to the hotel. After lunch, visit to Gems Market, Kabaraye (World Peace) Pagoda, Buddha Tooth Relic Pagoda and Loka Chantha Abhayalabhamuni Buddha Image (Marble Buddha) which is being carved from over 600 tons white marble rock of 37 feet long. Dinner and overnight in Yangon.

Day-06 (30 Aug'07): Yangon Departure (Breakfast)

After breakfast, transfer to airport for departure.

Trip Requirements

Visa: A Valid visa is required to enter Myanmar for all the nationalities. Visa can be apply at the Myanmar Embassies in abroad All the tourist visas are valid for 28 days and cost avrage of USD 20. Passports must carry a validity of 6 months beyond intended date of departure from Myanmar.
For those who live in the places and countries where the Myanmar Embassies or Consulates are not located, we are able to help you get the pre-approval letter for visa on arrival if you buy the tour services from us. For pre-approval visa it will take about minimum 30 days. After we get the pre-approval letter will email to you with attached file then show this letter to your airline for boarding pass. Visa fee is USD 20 which has to pay directly to Yangon airport immigration and one of our staff will meet and assist you at the airport on arrival.

Things to bring: Light clothes, slippers (please note that you have to take off your shoes at all the pagodas and temples in Myanmar when you enter the compound) and the medicines that you usually take for your health.

Health Precausion: No special precausion is required.

Insurance: Clients should take out medical and travel insurance.

Direction to meeting point: A representative will meet you at the Yangon International Airport at arrival lounge holding Myanmar Tourex signboard with your name on it.
