Day 01: Yangon Arrival (Lunch/ Dinner)

Arrive at Yangon airport by flight. Welcome by a tour guide and transfer to Hotel. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, visit to Chauk Htat Kyi - a colossal reclining Buddha, Yangon City Center surrounded by various colonial style buildings of World War II & Independent Monument for photo shooting & witness the daily life of local people. Early evening visit to the world famous golden stupa, Shwedagon Pagoda - the golden dome rises 98 meters above its base and is covered with 60 tons of pure gold. Dinner with cultural show at Karaweik Palace – a famous restaurant located on the Royal Lake built in the style of Royal Barge used by Myanmar’s old days kings. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.

Visa: A valid visa is required to enter Myanmar for all the nationalities. Visa can be apply at the Myanmar Embassies in abroad All the tourist visas are valid for 28 days and cost average of USD 20. Passports must carry a validity of 6 months beyond intended date of departure from Myanmar.

For those who live in the places and countries where the Myanmar Embassies or Consulates are not located, we are able to help you get the pre-approval letter for visa on arrival if you buy the tour services from us. For pre-approval visa it will take about minimum 30 days. After we get the pre-approval letter will email to you with attached file then show this letter to your airline for boarding pass. Visa fee is USD 20 + 2 recent passport size photographs which has to pay directly to Yangon airport immigration and one of our staff will meet and assist you at the airport on arrival.

Things to bring: Light clothes, slippers (please note that you will have to take off your shoes at all the pagodas and temples in Myanmar when you enter the compound), a hat for the hot and winter season from November to May and a rain coat or umbrella for rainy season from Jun to October, and the medicines that you usually take for your health.
