Day 02: Yangon - Bago- Kyaikhtiyo (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)
After breakfast at hotel, drive to Bago - an ancient Capital of Mon Kingdom in 15 century, 80 km from Yangon. Sightseeing Bago. Tour highlights include: Shwemawdaw Pagoda, Kanbawzathardi Palace. Lunch at local restaurant. Visit to Bago Market; Shwethalyaung Pagoda - a huge reclining Buddha built during 9th century; Mons’ weaving village. After lunch, proceed to Kyaikhtiyo - the largest domestic tourism center, a Pagoda built on a huge boulder 50 feet in girth that rests precariously on a projecting tabular rock 80 feet high, on the edge of a hill over 1100 km above sea level. Pilgrims walk the twisting l0 km footpath through bamboo forests or by the local open truck (no roof, no air-con). It is 11 km uphill hike from base camp to Yathe Taung Base camp, which is located on the half way and 45 minutes drive up. Only 2 km uphill trek from base camp to the summit. All the way there have many stalls and rest for the traveler. Enjoy unforgettable sunset view on the Golden Rock. Dinner & overnight at hotel in Kyaikhtiyo.
(Remarks: Our tourist vans or coaches can only reach to the base camp named Kimpun Camp. From Kimpun Camp to Yathetaung middle camp, all the visitors have to take the local trucks for the safety purpose. Our price for the small groups from 1 to 15 people, we only calculated base on the normal joining cost with other passengers. Day 03: Kyaikhtiyo - Baan - Mawlamyine (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)
After breakfast at hotel, proceed to Pha An (appr. 3 hrs). On the way, visit to Saddan Cave. Then drive to Lonpini Park, Bodi Tahtaung Pagoda at the base of Zwekabin Mountain. Late afternoon, proceed to Mawlamyine. Lunch & Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Mawlamyine - the capital of Mon State, situated at the mouth of the Thanlwin River. Located 28 miles from the sea, it is the second busiest seaport & third largest city in Myamar.
Day 04: Mawlamyine - Thanphyuzayat - Mawlamyine (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)
After breakfast at hotel, drive to Thanphyuzayat located about 34 km from Mawlamyine. Thanbyuzayat was the starting point of the “Death Railway” connecting Myanmar and Thailand with the Bridge on the River Kwai, constructed by the Japanese during World War II. There is a well-kept Allied War Memorial Cemetery for prisoners-of-war who died while building the “Death Railway” during World War II; the Railway Museum and a Japanese-built pagoda in memory of the perished Japanese engineers and prisoners-of-war. Drive back to Mawlmyine. Evening visit Mahamuni Pagoda. Lunch & Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Mawlamyine.
Day 05: Mawlamyine - Yangon (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)
After breakfast at hotel, drive back to Yangon (appr. 8 hours) passing through the Sittaung Bridge, an area humming with riverside activity, with small markets at the water’s edge, and small riverboats, coming and going with passengers and cargo. Carts drawn by water buffalo amble along the highway. Lunch & Dinner at local restaurant. Upon arrival transfer to your Hotel for check-in and overnight in Yangon.
Day 06: Yangon Departure (Breakfast)
After breakfast at hotel, transfer to Yangon International Airport for departure.
