Detail Itinerary

Day 01: Tachileik Arrival (Lunch/ Dinner)

Arrive at Tachileik Airport. Meet and transfer to Hotel. After check-in hotel, lunch at a restaurant. After lunch, half day sightseeing tour of Pathauk Village, Two Dragons Monastery and Chinese Communal Temple. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Tachileik.

Day 02: Tachileik - Kyaing Tong (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)

After breakfast, visit to the Morning Market and Shwedagon Pagoda. Drive to Kyaing Tong – a small trading town which is known as a city of Eastern Shan State located near Thai Border famous for it several hill-tribes villages like Akha, Palaung, Lahu, Akhi, Lishu, Lwe and Shans living nearby the surrounding. Meet and transfer to the hotel. After lunch, half day sightseeing tour of Kyaing Tong including visit to: Thittapin Taung – the 245 years old Dipterocarpus tree planted by king Alaungphaya the founder of Third Myanmar Dynasty; Home made lacquer workshop; and the Kyaing Tong Spa. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Kyaing Tong.


Day 03: Kyaing Tong (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)

After breakfast, take the car about 45 minutes drive. Then, trek about 20 minutes to “Akha village” and then, proceed to “Enn village” and enjoy there. After lunch at local restaurant, visit to the water fall if you can still trek. On the way back, visit to “Yan Law (Shan) village” and “Wan Pauk (Palaung) village”. Evening, arrive back to Kyaing Tong. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Kyaing Tong.

Day 04: Kyaing Tong - Heho - Inle (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)

After breakfast, check out at hotel. Then transfer to airport to fly Heho. On the way visit to RCM Church in Nyaungkan – which was famous for its 60 years (1923-1983) anti-leprosy service center in Myanmar; Arrive at Heho, drive to Nyaung Shwe and transfer to Inle by boat. Check-in hotel. Dinner and overnight in Inle.

Day 05: Inle (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)

AStart your day with breakfast at the Hotel. After breakfast, sightseeing to Inle Lake, the second biggest lake in Myanmar, famous for its unique leg rollers. Tour highlights is visit to Floating Maket, Phaungdawoo Pagoda, InpawkhoneVillage, famous for its silk weaving handlooms, Ngaphechaung Monastery, well known for its jumping cats, traditional ways of fishing, and Floating Gardens. Lunch at the floating restaurant. Dinner & overnight in Nyaungshwe or Inle.

Day 06: Inle - Pindaya - Heho - Mandalay (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Pindaya-a small quiet town famous for its millions years old caves deposited with thousands of Pagodas during the past centuries. Sightseeing Pindaya Cave, Traditional Shan papers making and Umbrella making villages. Lunch at a local restaurant in Pindaya. After lunch drive to Heho. Fly back to Mandalay Airport. Check in Hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Mandalay.

Day 07: Mandalay - Amarapura - Mandalay (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

After breakfast, sightseeing to Amarapura, an ancient capital built by the advice of astrologers and Mahagandaryone Monastery,where one may observe the daily life of the monks studying Buddha's scriptures, U Bein Bridge- 1.2 km long over 200 years old wooden bridge; Silk weaving home cottage. Lunch at the local restaurant and proceed visiting to Tapestry works, Woods caving & Bronze casting workshops, Marble carving workshop,Gold leave beating workshop, and evening visit to Mandalay Hill to watch the sunset and the panoramic view of the city. Dinner at the local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Mandalay.

Day 08: Mandalay - Mingun - Sagaing (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

After breakfast, visit to Mingun where the world largest ringing bell exist.Pahtodawgyi unfinish Pagoda, Mingun village and environs scene. Lunch at the local restaurant. And then sightseeing to Sagaing Hill, known as the center of meditation.Visit Kaungmudaw Pagoda,an enormous dome shaped pagoda built in 16th century: Pottery and Silver-smith workshops. On the way back to Mandalay, enjoy the beautiful sunset along the Ayeyarwaddy River. Evening dinner and overnight at the hotel in Mandalay.

Day 09: Mandalay - Bagan (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

After breakfast, transfer to the jetty for the boat trip to Bagan (0600-1630) with government double-decker ferry. Afternoon, arrive at Nyaung Oo Jetty. Meet and transfer to hotel in Bagan. Evening, watch the famous sunset view of Bagan from Buphaya pagoda. Dinner with puppet show at one of most famous restaurant in Bagan, Burma‘s ancient city and living treasure house of Buddhist architectual beauties, and day end.

Day 10: Bagan (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

After breakfast at the hotel, sightseeing and visit to Kyansittha Umin, Htilominlo Temple - the largest temples of Bagan, Dhamanyangyi Temple, Myinkabar Gubyaukgyi Temple - known for its wall painting depicting scenes from the Jataka; Manuha Temple. Lunch at the restaurant and continue to Nyaung Oo Market, Shwezigon Pagoda - built by King Anawrahta in the early 11th century as a religious shrine, Lacquer-ware making home cottage, Ananda Temple - King Kyansittha’s masterpiece and the crowning achievement of the early style temple of architecture, Thatbyinnyu Temple - the highest building on the Bagan plain. Evening Dinner with Puppet Show at the local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Bagan.

Day 11: Bagan - Salay - Popa - Yangon (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

After breakfast, check-out at hotel. Drive to Salay, arrive Salay visit to Salay U Pone Nya Museum – (formely the Yoke Sone Monastery) and then drive to Mount Popa, the abode of nats (spirits), siturated 40 miles southeast of Bagan. Sightseeing Mount Popa and environs. Lunch at Popa Mountain Resort Hotel – where one could see the panoramic view of the surrounding. After that drive to Nyaung Oo Airport, on the way can witness climbing up the locals at palm tree and making jaggery; then fly to Yangon. Check-in at hotel. Dinner and overnight in Yangon.

Day 12: Yangon - Kyaikhtiyo (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

After breakfast at hotel, drive to Kyaikhtiyo, the largest domestic tourism center, located about 168 km from Yangon.Kyaikhtiyo,Golden Rock Pagoda built on a huge boulder 50 feet in girth that rests precariously on a projecting tabular rock 80feet high, on the edge of a hill over 1100 km above sea level. There are full of legends and story about the pagoda. Coach reach to Kinpun base camp; proceed to Yathe Taung base camp, which is located on the half way, by local open trucks(non roof,non air con) about 45 minutes drive. Only 2 km uphill trek to the summit .The way along the roadside have many stalls and welcome rest for the uphill traveller. Lunch & Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Kyaikhtiyo.

Day 13: Kyaikhtiyo - Bago - Yangon (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

After breakfast at hotel drive back to Bago- an ancient Capital of Mon Kingdom in 15 century AD, 80 km northeast of Yangon. Sightseeing to Shwemawdaw Pagoda, the highest pagoda in Myanmar and Kanbawzathardi Palace of King Bayinnaung, the founder of 2nd Myanmar Kingdom. Lunch at local restaurant.After lunch, visit to Shwethalyaung Pagoda, a 55 meters long huge reclining Buddha built during 9th century; Mons’ weaving village and Cheroot making industry, and drive back to Yangon. On the wayback drop into Loka Chantha Abhayalabhamuni Buddha Image which is being carved from over 600 tons white marble rock of 37 feet long. Dinner at local restaurant and your last night is in Yangon.

Day 14: Yangon (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

After breakfast, the whole day sightseeing tour to Yangon visiting Strand Jetty , Sule Pagoda, a beautiful octagonal golden stupa, dating over 2,000 years, Botataung Pagoda, the Landmark of Yangon's waterfront; and Bogyoke (Scott) Market. After Lunch, visit to Shwedagon Pagoda, world famous golden stupa in the dome shape rises 98 meters above its base and covered with 60 tons of pure gold. Dinner with cultural show at Kandawgyi Palace Hotel with a view to Karaweik Palace, built in the style of Myanmar old days king's Royal Budge. Overnight in Yangon.

Day 15: Yangon - Departure (Breakfast)

Day 16: Mawlamyine - Hpa-an - Kyaikhtiyo (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

After breakfast, early morning drive to Hpa-an- the capital of Kayin state .On the way, pass across the bridge over the Thanlwin river between Thaton and Hpa-an. On the way visit to Bayintnyi caves, lime stone cave and cold & hot spring lake exist in that cave. And then, visit to Shwe -yin-hmyaw Pagoda. Lunch at a local restaurant. Then drive to Kyaikhtiyo, Golden Rock, a huge boulder completely covered by gold leaf and delicately balanced on the edge of a cliff. Pilgrims walk the twisting l0km footpath through bamboo forests or by the local open truck.It is 11km up hill hike from base camp to Yathe Taung Base camp,which is located on the half way and 45 minutes drive up. Trip Requirements

Visa: A Valid visa is required to enter Myanmar for all the nationalities. Visa can be apply at the Myanmar Embassies in abroad All the tourist visas are valid for 28 days and cost average of USD 20. Passports must carry a validity of 6 months beyond intended date of departure from Myanmar.
For those who live in the places and countries where the Myanmar Embassies or Consulates are not located, we are able to help you get the pre-approval letter for visa on arrival if you buy the tour services from us. For pre-approval visa it will take about minimum 30 days. After we get the pre-approval letter will email to you with attached file then show this letter to your airline for boarding pass. Visa fee is USD 20 which has to pay directly to Yangon airport immigration and one of our staff will meet and assist you at the airport on arrival.

Things to bring: Light clothes, slippers (please note that you have to take off your shoes at all the pagodas and temples in Myanmar when you enter the compound), a hat for the hot and winter season from November to May and a rain coat or umbrella for rainy season from Jun to October, and the medicines that you usually take for your health.
