Detail Itinerary

Day 01: Chiang Mai - Mandalay Arrival ( Dinner)

Arrive at Mandalay Airport, meet and drive to Mandalay-the capital of Myanmar Last Dynasty. After check in Hotel. Visit to Mandalay hill to enjoy the panoramic sunset. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel in Mandalay.


Day 02: Mandalay - Amarapura - Mandalay (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

After breakfast, visit Mahamuni Pagoda. Then sightseeing to Amarapura, an ancient capital built by the advice of astrologers and U Bein Bridge - 1.2 km long over 200 years old wooden bridge; Mahagandaryone Monastery, where one may observe the daily life of the monks studying Buddha’s scriptures and Silk weaving home cottage. After lunch at the local restaurant, proceed visiting to visiting to Tapestry works, Woods caving & Bronze casting workshops, Gold leave beating workshop, Mandalay Palace, Shwenandaw Monastery - noted for its exquisite wood carvings, Atumashi Monastery, Kuthodaw Pagoda-known as the world biggest book. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel in Mandalay.

Day 03: Mandalay - Mingun - Sagaing - Mandalay (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

After breakfast at the hotel, visit to Mingun where the world largest ringing bell exist. Sightseeing Pahtodawgyi unfinished Pagoda, Mingun Bell, Myatheindan Pagoda, Home for the aged and environs scene. Lunch at local restaurant. After that sightseeing to Sagaing Hill, known as the center of meditation. Visit Kaungmudaw Pagoda, an enormous dome shaped pagoda built in 16th century: and Pottery and Silver-Smith Workshops. On the way back enjoy the beautiful sunset with Ayeyarwaddy river. Evening dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel in Mandalay .

Day 04: Mandalay - Bagan (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

After breakfast, transfer to airport to fly Bagan. Arrive at Bagan meet and transfer to hotel to check in. After that start Bagan full day sightseeing to Nyaung Oo Market, Shwezigon Pagoda - built by King Anawrahta in the early 11th century as a religious shrine; Wetkyi-In Gubyaukkyi, a temple with exquisite murals of Jataka scenes; Htilominlo Temple - the largest temples of Bagan and Ananda Temple - King Kyansittha’s masterpiece and the crowning achievement of the early style temple of architecture. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, continue to Dhamanyangyi Temple was built by King Narathu in 1167 (12th centaury) and not finished but it displayed the finest brickwork in Bagan; Manuha Temple - built by King Manuhar from Thaton, Nanphaya and Myinkabar Gubyaukgyi Temple - known for its wall painting depicting scenes from the Jataka. Dinner with Puppet Show at the local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Bagan, Burma’s ancient city and living treasure house of Buddhist architectural beauties.

Day 05: Bagan - Popa - Kalaw (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

Start your day with breakfast at the Hotel. After breakfast at hotel, drive to Kalaw. On the way, visit to Mount Popa, the abode of nats (spirits), siturated 40 miles southeast of Bagan. Sightseeing Mount Popa and environs. Lunch at a local restaurant on the way. Then, proceed to Kalaw - a small hill station with numbers of old colonial style British built buildings. Evening arrive at Kalaw. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Kalaw.

(Remarks: Sunrise Watching Tour in Bagan is not included in our itinerary and prices. Additional charges are mentioned if you choose as an optional. Please see detail extra cost.)

Bagan- Kalaw land route is roughly and bumpy, but some visitors like for adventure and take this route, some don’t use for their convenience. We arrange the optional program with flight instead of driving to Kalaw. So if you are not in good physical state or strong enough to ride 9 hrs rough journey by car we recommend you to choose with flight sector)

Day 06: Kalaw - Pindaya - Inle (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

Start your day with breakfast at the Hotel. After breakfast in hotel, drive to Pindaya - a small quiet town, famous for it's thousand of Buddha Images deposited inside the caves centuries of years ago. Visit Pindaya caves, traditional Shan paper making, pottery and umbrella making villages. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, proceed to Nyaung Shwe - a small town located at the entrance of Lake Inle . And then boat transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Inle Lake.

Day 07: Inle (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

Start your day with breakfast at the Hotel. After breakfast, boat trip to Inle Lake , the second biggest lake in Myanmar , famous for its unique leg rollers. Tour highlights is visit to Floating Market (can available see on the market days only which is hold on every five days), Ngaphechaung Monastery, one of the oldest monasteries on the lake and well know for its jumping cats, floating gardens in Kay La village, famous wish-fulfilling Phaungdaw Oo Pagoda, Inpawkhone Village - famous for its silk weaving handloom; blacksmith shop at Se' Kaung village and traditional cigar making (Cheroot Factory). Lunch at the local restaurant. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Inle Lake .

Day 08: Inle - Heho - Yangon (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

Start your day with breakfast at the Hotel. After breakfast, leave Inle for Heho by coach. After that, flight back to Yangon. Meet & transfer to hotel. On the way visit to Loka Chantha Abhayalabhamuni Buddha Image (Marble Buddha) which is being carved from over 600 tons white marble rock of 37 feet long. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, visit Myanmar famous Gems, Jade & Jewellery workshop and , Local Glass Blowing Factory where can see all the fanciful objects of glass which were produced by ancient techniques. Evening visit to Shwedagon Pagoda over 2500 years old the world famous stupa in the dome shape rises 98 meters above its base and covered with 60 tons of pure gold. Then take a walk to China Town where can see the many vendors along the sidewalk & can buy the variety of Myanmar products. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.

Day-09: Yangon Sightseeing (Breakfast/ Lunch/ Dinner)

After breakfast, visit to Sule Pagoda, a beautiful octagonal golden stupa dating over 2,000 years; Botataung Pagoda- the landmark of Yangon’s waterfront. Lunch at a local restaurant. Then visit to Bogyoke Market used to called Scott Market, the largest market in Yangon with time to browse among the hundreds of stalls for souvenir bargains, arts & crafts souvenir shopping center. Evening take Sunset Cocktail Cruise along Yangon River to enjoy the river life of Yangon. Free flow cocktail will serve on board. Enjoy the magnificent sunset view, then boat sail back to Yangon. Fair well dinner with cultural show at Karaweik Palace Restaurant, built in the style of Myanmar old days king’s Royal Budge. Overnight at the hotel in Yangon.

Day 10: Yangon - Departure (Breakfast)

After breakfast, transfer to airport for flight back home.

Day 10: Yangon - Kyaikhtiyo (Golden Rock) (Breakfast/ Lunch / Dinner)

After breakfast, a long excursion by road, 190 km east of Yangon, to Kyaikhtiyo. On the way visit Htaukkyant World World II Cemetery on the way. On arrive at Bago, visit Kyahkatwine Teaching Monastery where one can witness the hundreds of student monks having their lunch under the Buddha disciplines. Then proceed to Kyaikhtiyo (Golden Rock). Lunch at local restaurant and continue to Golden rock, a huge boulder completely covered by gold leaf and delicately balanced on the edge of a cliff. Pilgrims walk the twisting l0 km footpath through bamboo forests or by the local open truck. It is 11 km up hill hike from base camp to Yathe Taung Base camp, which is located on the half way and 45 minutes drive up. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Kyaikhtiyo.

(Remarks: Our tourist vans or coaches can only reach to the base camp named Kimpun Camp. From Kimpun Camp to Yathetaung middle camp, all the visitors have to take the local trucks for the safety purpose. Our price for the small groups from 1 to 15 people, we only calculated base on the normal joining cost with other passengers. If you need a private transport truck, we will arrange it and additional charges applied are payable by client.)

Day 11: Kyaikhtiyo (Golden Rock) - Bago – Yangon (Breakfast/ Lunch / Dinner)

After breakfast, drive back to Bago -an ancient capital of Mons as well as Myanmar Second Dynasty situated about 80 km north-east of Yangon . Then, proceed to Shwemawdaw Pagoda - the highest pagoda in Myanmar Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch visit Kanbawzathadi Palace , the palace site of King Bayinnaung who is the founder of Myanmar 2nd Dynasty; Shwethalyaung Pagoda - a 55 meters long reclining Buddha; Mons ’ weaving village, and Cheroot Making Home Cottage Industry. And then visit Kyaikpon Four gigantic Buddh Images. Evening drive back to Yagnon. Dinner at a local restaurant. Ovenight at the hotel in Yangon.

Day 12: Yangon - Departure (Breakfast)

After breakfast, transfer to airport for flight back home.

Trip Requirements

Visa: A Valid visa is required to enter Myanmar for all the nationalities. Visa can be apply at the Myanmar Embassies in abroad All the tourist visas are valid for 28 days and cost average of USD 20. Passports must carry a validity of 6 months beyond intended date of departure from Myanmar.
For those who live in the places and countries where the Myanmar Embassies or Consulates are not located, we are able to help you get the pre-approval letter for visa on arrival if you buy the tour services from us. For pre-approval visa it will take about minimum 30 days. After we get the pre-approval letter will email to you with attached file then show this letter to your airline for boarding pass. Visa fee is USD 20 + 2 recent passport size photographs which has to pay directly to Yangon airport immigration and one of our staff will meet and assist you at the airport on arrival.

Things to bring: Light clothes, slippers (please note that you have to take off your shoes at all the pagodas and temples in Myanmar when you enter the compound), a hat for the hot and winter season from November to May and a rain coat or umbrella for rainy season from Jun to October, and the medicines that you usually take for your health.

Health Precausion: No special precausion is required except the normal precausions and treatments you usually have before a trip.
