Myanmar Tourex Travel Service Ltd. was established in Yangon in 1994 by a family of Myanmar nationals. As Myanmar opened its door to the world only in 1988, initiated market-oriented economy and allowed private businesses to participate in some industries, all of Myanmar travel agencies are still young with a few years' experience and Myanmar Tourex is no exception. Nevertheless, we are staffed with a team of travel professionals who possess extensive international and domestic experiences in the tourism industry.

Mr. Soe Thura Tun, our Managing Director has now over 16 years experience in this industry. Before he started this business, he had worked for Skyline Travel Service Ltd. in Bangkok, which was the only private company to take care of all the incoming clients in a joint-venture business with the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism till 1993. Our General Manager Mdm. Toe, who have had over 25 years' experience as a chief accountant in the government service, is greatly resourceful and provides valuable support to the management team. Moreover, Mrs. Fannie Dawn, wife of Mr. Soe has recently joined-in to our sales team which really give us a hand to improve our qulaity of services.
Our operation team and office team are enforced with young, enthusiastic, energetic and career-oriented graduates. With thorough knowledge of office work and computer applications, they have been helping Myanmar Tourex build a good reputation of sensing and fulfilling our clients' needs and creating customers' satisfaction speedly.
Our tour guides are a mixture of youths and seniors, all of whom are dedicated to their profession and act as ambassadors of the company. They are always cheerful and attentive to the needs and satisfaction of our valued clients. Most of them speak two foreign languages while some speak three.
